Cervical Spine (C1 – C7)
The seven vertebrae of your neck sit at the top of the spinal chain, and the nerves that exit between them branch out to your head, face, shoulders, and all the way down your arms. When a cervical segment shifts out of position, the effects can show up anywhere along those pathways, which is why a neck problem does not always feel like a neck problem. Here is what each level supplies:
C1 — brain, pituitary gland, scalp, eyes, ears
C2 — head, eyes, tongue, ears, heart

Each level connects to the following:
T1 — lower arms, wrists, hands, fingers, esophagus, windpipe
T2 — heart, including its valves and arteries
T3 — lungs, bronchial tubes, chest
T4 — gallbladder
T5 — liver, blood, solar plexus
T6 — stomach
T7 — pancreas, duodenum
T8 — spleen, diaphragm
T9 — adrenal glands

T12 — small intestine, lymph circulation

The nerves branching out from this region control your lower digestive organs, your pelvis, and both legs from hip to toe. Here is the breakdown by level:
L1 — large intestine, groin
L2 — abdomen, appendix, upper legs
L3 — bladder, uterus, reproductive organs, knees
L4 — prostate gland, muscles of the low back, sciatic nerve
L5 — lower legs, ankles, feet
